Who we are
Founder and CEO, of Pounamu Media Group, Hineani Melbourne, is a Māori media producer and founder of Pounamu Media Group, with experience spanning broadcasting, documentary, screen advocacy, and governance. Her work is grounded in Māori storytelling practice as well as academic research in Indigenous knowledge.
The pounamu koru represents growth, continuity, and the unfolding of stories held in trust. Formed in pounamu, it reflects endurance, guardianship, and the responsibility of carrying narratives forward with care.
